Blueprint have confirmed that they have appointed Nottingham agents Fisher Hargreaves Proctor to join the marketing team of their highly acclaimed office campus development on Nottingham Science Park.
Their appointment follows a selective appointment process. Fisher Hargreaves Proctor are now involved in implementing the next phase of marketing with Innes England which starts with an open day for property related professionals on Friday 12 June 2009.
Blueprint have completed the first phase of development of this 12 acre office campus which will ultimately provide up to approximately quarter of a million ft² of state of the art office/technology /training facilities.
Blueprint have already completed the 65,000 ft² Toyota engineering academy operated by Castle College and No.1 Nottingham Science Park, a 42,000ft² state of the art highly sustainable and environmentally friendly office building designed to attract forward thinking office and technology occupiers of all sizes.
A further 6 acres of land is available on which bespoke offices can be built to satisfy each individual company’s needs.
The developer is embracing modern technology and helping to prove that a high quality office building which enhances energy efficient systems and materials can be created which has led to No.1 Nottingham Science Park already wining a number of awards including a Post award for Design, and regional and national awards for both design, construction and sustainability in recognition of the fact that the building incorporates a high number of sustainable technologies/materials which include a biomass fuelled, energy efficient heating system, water based cooling system, and sustainable drainage system for grey water.
John Long, a Development Director at Blueprint confirmed:
“In appointing a new member of the marketing team we wanted to ensure that we chose a company who had a proven track record in innovative marketing techniques but in themselves had a forward thinking and progressive outlook. Fisher Hargreaves Proctor impressed us with their views and ideas as to how to build upon the scheme’s success to date.”
John Proctor at Fisher Hargreaves Proctor confirmed:
“We are proud to be appointed alongside Innes England on this highly prestigious scheme – Blueprint have delivered No.1 Nottingham Science park and proven to everybody that it is perfectly possible for high quality offices to embrace modern technology to create a superb working environment which matches any Grade A offices within the region but more so reduces carbon emissions and increases energy efficiency of the building without compromising the functionality of the premises. Occupiers benefit from a cooled/heated office environment without traditional, expensive air conditioning being used, full data provision is provided and excellent natural light floods the offices.
The location of the Science Park is also almost second to none – the environment is enhanced by the attractive reed beds which also act as part of the surface water drainage system providing all occupiers with plenty of external break out space to compliment the working environment. Being located adjacent to the campus of the Nottingham University there is superb public transport accessibility, the availability of complimentary facilities and extra spin off benefits including the adjacent Nottingham Tennis Centre.
Blueprint are also seeking to encourage the growth of companies who can help continue to reinforce Nottingham’s recognition as a centre of excellence for forward thinking and technology based research.
In being considered for the scheme I have to confess to having thought that the building was likely to be specialist internally as a consequence of the technology it embraces but have come to realise that it is a superb working environment equal or better to anything else which exists within the area and this is the message that we are seeking to take to the market onwardly.”
Nottingham Science Park is also open to any company to use as a base to host meetings/conferences with a managed conferencing and office suite being open for booking both in the day and evening six days a week.
John Long confirmed:
“The Science Park is designed as being an open community – tenant companies have their own self contained offices within an environment which attracts some of the most established companies within the area together with newly formed forward thinking business.
The likes of Boots, Gleeds, emda, and the Energy Savings Trust regularly use the meeting facility.
We want to encourage more businesses to visit and use the facilities within the Science Park as this can only help us to continue to prove the quality of development which is on offer, increase awareness of the park, enable us to move onto the next phases of development and promote the use of sustainable technology within other developments within the region.”
